Definitely. It will help me in keeping abreast of all fresh news from areas I am interested in.

With caution! One will need to be very selective or RSS feeds will be worse then emails.

At least you can let your RSS feeds in bloglines languish til you have time to get to them - which might not interrupt your train of thought as readily as constant emails can?
